5/9/2024 - wlsch Likes this wine: 91 pointsPnP. Consistent with my previous notes. Lots of cherry fruit, a touch of cola, some blood orange, spice and some underlying earthiness. Medium body, medium acidity. This really seems like it's in a sweet spot. Of the three or four times I've had this, this is the best showing. No rush to drink it as it seems like it has several years ahead. |

4/27/2024 - Condrieu82 Likes this wine: 90 pointsGarnet in the glass. Nose is expressive, with pepper, raspberries, strawberries compôte, vanilla. Medium acidity, fresh, red berries-loaded, secondary notes of forest floor, bell peppers; medium tannins, long finish with oak, white pepper, and raspberries. |

4/25/2024 - tourproto Likes this wine: 92 pointsGreat classic Pinot as is usually the case with Et Fille. As good as it was on Day 1 after about 15 minutes of air, it still got even better on Day 2 |

4/24/2024 - Bunny Motel wrote: 87 pointsInteresting and tough to judge because I really like the aromas (unmistakeably Oregon pinot, appealing) and it has good initial fruit/freshness and mid palate but something about the finish just doesn't quite come together. Can't put my finger on it, but ends a little disjointed instead of a pure, elegant Pinot-esque finish. Trying alone, so perhaps better served with food? |

12/29/2023 - Portland Pinot Pigs Likes this wine: 85 pointsWe purchased this on a whim after tasting a 2007 Belle Pente in 2022 that knocked our socks off. I remember having some 750s of the Nicholas awhile back and enjoying them a great deal and Jessica was lovely enough to part with one of her last large formats of this. We were thrilled with it. It had that lovely pinot stank that blew off quickly and after about an hour it was simply delicious. So many memories of Howard who's fingerprints seemed to be all over this wine. We toasted to his honor. By hour 2, the peak had ebbed - it was still enjoyable but the high notes seemed to dissipate somewhat. But what a vintage and what an honor to get to taste this lovely blast from the past. |

12/24/2023 - North Willis Likes this wine: 93 pointsNote from Day 2. Beautiful nose showing classic Pinot notes of spice. In the mouth, the wine gives a wonderful lushness, with a long finish of complex red fruit, and encroaching tertiary notes of umani. This wine is simultaneously full bodied and delicate. A great bottle. Purchased at Et Fille tasting room in Newberg. Wish I had bought more. Not inexpensive (US $80) but would compete with Burgundies selling for double the price. Yet another indication of Oregon's place in making world class Pinot Noirs. |

12/9/2023 - Jack Cranley Likes this wine: 89 pointsThis was a nice little drinkable number. Overall a very elegant, floral type of wine. Although I have to say I'm pretty shocked at how advanced this wine is for its relative young age. I mean I realize that 6 years old is not a young Pinot noir but I've had enough to know that this seems a little advanced for that number. I would guess more like a 10 or 12-year-old wine. |

8/28/2023 - tourproto Likes this wine: 93 pointsI can't believe I am the first one to comment on this wine :) Makes me wonder if I am drinking it too soon! That said, this Pinot was wonderful from the moment I opened it up. Wonderful nose, velvety mouthfeel, and medium finish. It really didn't need to breathe at all IMHO. On the 2nd night it got a bit better, but it was already so good to start with. Glad I have a lot more bottles of this. Kalita is probably my fave Pinot from Et Fille. 7/7/2023 - tourproto Likes this wine: 93 pointsMay have opened too soon. Still acidic and tight when first opened, but softened after 30 minutes. The big change was the next night. Fully opened up and was a fruit bomb with a lush mouthfeel and a smooth finish. Probably could have let this age for another 5 years. But an overflowing wine fridge necessitated some consumption 😁. Another great Pinot from Et Fille! |
