5/8/2024 - Stillwaters1174 Likes this wine: NRWow, this is good!! Heeded reviews and airated/decanted for 2+ hours. Was rewarded with a wine far less jammy than classic Aussie shiraz, and more w deep fruit-filled leathery mouthful with a slight hint of smokiness in the finish. Like shiraz meets something (that I can't define!). Differs in a good way, and punches far above its £10 mark. |

3/30/2024 - Delund Likes this wine: 87 pointsAt $12/bottle, this wine is not expecting to compete with 1er Cru Burgundies, but it is a pleasant, food-friendly and quaffable Pinot at a great price. Popped and poured, cellar temperature. Light, almost translucent, ruby color. Aromatic spicy red and black cherry notes on the nose, hints of earth. Light-bodied, light acidity, light silky tannins, no noticeable heat. Red fruits (cherry, raspberry and strawberry, slightly sweet and savory) on the palate. Hints of minerality and licorice. Medium-length finish with lingering raspberry notes. Great QPR, but based upon my past experience with this wine, drink it now, not likely to age well. |

1/12/2024 - Delund wrote: 84 pointsWow, this wine is aging fast (cheap composite cork?) Garnet color with a hint of ruby. What I had previously described as a muted nose is fading rapidly. Pleasant, simple fruit (cherry cola, a hint of strawberry) on the palate. Acidity fading too. Drink 'em if you've got 'em. |
