A bit earthy as it were. And then direct and precise. Blond tobacco victor notes. Ans volume in mouth with very fine bubbles. A very long in the mouth.

Mr duntze thinks Apple, honey a vintage atmosphere. Very pronounced aromas, more of a meal victor notes. 80% 2014 and 2015. Very strong apple aromas but also quite crisp and dry. Starchy in a good way. That is a really crisp menuier. Very long length. Very precise. 5 grams dosage.

Not as Brut ish as you may expect. Mineral and wet stone driven shaded by apple peel. Solid solid core, lacking flowers, fruit, charm, will appeal to tasters who like licking a cold Granny Smith.

Had for a birthday celebration from my cellar. Ripe grapes, bright acidity, a restrained yeasty note. Excellent color. As noted below the bubbles are almost overeager and large here. Cave d'Argent's note below is spot on. Excellent for the price point.

Hazy, pale 10k gold color. Excellent champagne flavors and good acid. Only knock is the large bubbles.

Yiesty, funky aroma. Baked apple, minerality on the nose. Dry, medium plus finish. Full bodied champagne. Very enjoyable sipping wine during the hot weather.

Pale gold, bubbles will show off your flute, nose is dry yeast and Pinot meunier? nice mineral saline. I would say brisk rather than acidic, full bodied and pleasantly dry not biting dry. A mouthful which leaves a lovely aftertaste as noted by another poster. Ripe grapes seem to define this unusual young, tasty, complex Champagne - offers a better understanding of how Churchill could finish a bottle of bubbly daily for breakfast.

Star bright beige. Small bubbles persistent even in my Bordeaux glass. Toast-laden nose of baked apples and white spices. Deceptively racy acidity belies a rich palate of baked green apples and stony biscuits. Lengthy finish. The one upside of climate change is that these extra brut bottles are nowhere near as scary as they used to be. This is a fully approachable, fruitful wine that will still satisfy the “dry obsessed” in your group (even if it’s mostly psychological). Drink now. They’ll make more.

6(% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. Medium golden, ample effervescence. Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol and medium(-) body. Bread/bakery upon pouring with lemon notes. Slightly oxidized palate with yeast, lemon and green apple. Tart and taut, structured. Focused finish, bone dry til the end.

This was surprisingly good. Seemed very well balanced and did not have the overly bitter or cloying finish found in some other champagnes with a similar price point. I’d be happy to drink this again.

This particular bottle of Duntze's nonvintage Brut (lot BR170541/200/S807) is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier. Light yellow in color, it sports a moderately brisk, medium-sized bead. The aromatic and flavor profiles are comparable, lead by lemony citrus and pineapple notes that are accented with coriander, bread dough and rose petals. Light-to-medium-bodied, vibrantly acidic and with good mid-palate presence, it goes on to finish with medium length. Bottles from this particular lot should show nicely over the next couple of years. Drink now-2021.
