The wine begins with rich fruits aromatically. Blackberry, and dark cherry emerge on the nose which also include fresh asphalt sulpher. Black cherry, ripe mulberry, and bay leaf in mouth. The finish is viscous thick juice which is a great take on the 2019 vintage. |

Lush mouthfeel, tannins rounded but present. Pretty high alcohol level (14.5%!) but not overblown. Not going to win any awards for subtlety, but a very good well-aged wine and perfect with a hearty, beefy meal. |

Opened with a very musty nose which dissipated quickly. 1st taste it was soft showing it needed to open. After some decanting it became a bomb of Chocolate covered cherries. Another 30 minutes went by and spice and raisins. Might have been slightly passed its prime as the tannins were smooth to the point of gone. Still a great wine. |

A little bitterness in the finish that we’ll hope resolves after more years. Unlike earlier tasters, we found this wine showed good promise from the first, without the so-called developing-period concern. Agree there is balance among tannin, acid, and fruit. Second night: A little brighter with longer finish, still some bitterness in the finish. |

It starts with aromatics mostly of cherry with blueberry and cedar wood. In mouth the balance is most striking as it is near perfect between tannin, acidity and fruit. My only complaint is that it is missing that fruit forward character I like modern Napa Cabernet'. |

Some lychee nut, hazelnut and guava undertones. A strong sense of minerality runs throughout the wine. Very seamless with complexity in low, mid and high palate. A balanced mouthfeel that is rich and creamy. Perfect symmetry of acid, wood and tannins. Long double finish that ends on a high sucrosity note of tropical fruits, vanilla and oak. 50% new French Oak barrels. This is a big boy wine. Reminds me of a Peter Michael Mon Plaisar. This was after an 18 hour decant. Once again, I will tell everyone; decant, decant, decant your wines. |
