Nice light red wine. Somewhat unique profile, with aromas of plum and cranberry. There is a slight nuttiness on the palate, with a mild bitterness into the finish.

PnP (previous bottle felt a bit fragile so avoided decanting) - Oxidized nose at first.

To start with this is a delicious and special wine.

As the wine opens up, cherry, coke, earthy tones, menthol, iron, herbs. Taste profile develops towards more red berries shows with time, some peppery note (?), with tannins showing a dusty character yet remains silky. If it can be then it was also a bit dusty on nose (in the best sense).

Texture is silky, structure more from acidity at this point, and it full on lively and kicking energy.

On the second night salvia and citrus fruit becomes more pronounced on top of what it showed the first night.

While on the forth night more darker fruit and fuller taste profile came through.

O and yes, a long lovely finish.

PnP, then drunk over three days.
This was in great shape: on the nose, sometimes it showed some oxidation, depending on how long it sat in the glass, but otherwise showed an evolved, but inviting and very complex nose. The palate was absolutely lovely, juicy, with its body still fully there, and tannins which are almost gone but still biting a little. There is some old leather, mineral notes, fruit which reminds me of cranberries.
A joy to drink.

Croatina and Nebbiolo. Uncorked 18 hours prior to serving into 薄はり葡萄酒器 (“Fruit” day): Pale ruby with slightly bricking rim.

Sour red plums and morello cherries. Some faint hints of VA.

Relatively forward compared to the crazy lineup. Very high toned red fruits on palate.

93-94 points.

Candied cherry and apple fruits into the third round.

Dried strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and rose. Weightless, with noteworthy acidity. Finish is short. Not a ton of life here, although my bottle was stored in less than perfect conditions. This improved significantly with food.

Not that expressive on the nose but very elegant and pretty. Smooth notes of rosehip, leather, dried cherries, iron, dried herbs. The fruit tip toes behind the well preserved acidity and the super fine tannins. Medium long aftertaste. Great.

Big nose with heavy maturity, not much fruit left in this wine. Dried fruits, figs, raisin, old leather, balsamico. Dry tannins, still good acidity. Orange peel. Interesting but this bottle was too far gone.

I think I'm done buying aged wines. You just can't say where it's been over the years even if it's purchased from a reputable source, in this case Delectable. All I know is this bottle was toast. I'll be sticking to the wines aged in my cellar from now on. Patience is everything I suppose.

Another mature, attractive wine. Quite dry and a bit austere, this was still so pretty on the nose. Went well with food, a subtle, delicate nebbiolo over all. In a great place.

First sniff shows moderate oxidation but freshens right up to show very pretty perfume of rose hip, hibiscus, potpourri. Palate is silky and resolved with predominately a tart raspberry and rhubarb focus. Lovely mature wine.

Mature; in a perfect place now, not likely to get better. The color was still holding quite well, I thought. The nose, while it opened with some VA and a pretty heavy dose of farm matter, cleared by about the 6 hour open mark (this was Audozed for 4 hours, which did little, this really benefited from 90-120 minutes in decanter), and it continued to get better right through the last sip, some 3 hours after it was in decanter. Medium-bodied, correct and very clean on the palate, with lovely aspect of tension and very pure Nebbiolo fruit. Once the some of the off-putting aromas had cleared, the perfumes got better and better with each glass. Showed better than I'd expected and hoped for even if most would have given up in the first hour. Drink over the next several years. 13,5% abv., recommended

Like the 90, opened at the same time, I had the brief impression that there was something left as I decanted it. Maybe I was hoping against hope, the other 3 bottles already swirling down a drain. Sadly, the promise was unfulfilled, within 15 minutes, undrinkable. I cannot imagine that anyone holding this wine would think it has any life ahead of it. I drank a bottle about 3 years ago, and wish I had consumed this one back then.

We had this gorgeous wine in a Eurpean mix session with old and great burgundy, German Pinot Noir and Barolo. This wine was really singing and marvellously complex but still fresh due its healthy acidity. The initial mushroom nose cleared very fast and let the dark fruits, plums and piedmont flavors (if garrigue is typical Provence, I think there is a similar taste in Piedmont, but I am missing the word, mayb tartufiato? ;-). Great showing of a well aged high class Nebbiolo on the fine side of life.

Obvious notes of maturity here, some would probably say it's gone too far. A incredible nose, just spectacular. Truffle, damp wooden floor, rosehip, raisin, dried apricots, leather, a bit oxidised and a sherry-like feeling. So complex, I could sniff this all day.
The palate comes across as a little more tired. Cherries, strawberries, rosehip, sherry and leather. After an hour in the glass it becomes sweeter and more towards the strawberries.
This i an act of balance between being perfect and being over the hill, pretty much comes down to what you want from a wine for the moment. Needless to say you should expect some bottle variation. Left feeling fortunate to have tried some of the great Antonio Cerris work.

Beautiful bottle of this. Nose of sausages/kielbasa and sauerkraut, cranberry/cherry, tobacco, my coworker also said coconut/chocolate candy. Hi-toned and incredibly balanced with present but integrated/resolved tannin, pale red in color, this is thoroughly mature but so balanced and stable that it will probably just cruise along like this for ages.

Drunk over dinner with friends, no formal TN.
Drinking the last sips on day 2 as I am writing here.
Stinky as it was poured in the glass, but it cleaned up quickly.
Lean, still lively, lovely. Tannins are still grippy, but very fine.
The remaining red fruit reminds me of cranberries on the palate, but the nose has quite some tertiary notes which bring to mind nutmeg and tobacco leaves.
I loved it.
