12/8/2017 - mirrassou Likes this wine: 97 pointsI absolutely love this wine. I tried it at a wine fest and when they opened the bottle, it smelled like Christmas. It has kind of pine notes with nutmeg with still a rich red wine sweetness. I gave it a 97 because it could use a bit more of the spice since it is subtle, but it's my favorite wine for the season! I wish I could recreate it by infusing some Pinot Noirs because I like it much better than the more sugary, fruity mulled wines. |
