Bright acidity (6/10) with a light body. Well balanced on the palate with a little bit of sweetness to it with strawberries, citrus and minerality. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2022. |

3/24/2019 - Shay.Aldriedge wrote: 93 pointsMany rosés come across flabby and too fruit forward. This balances fruit and acidity perfectly. Watermelon dominates the nose, alongside kiwi and melon. Very faint color. Fantastic finish with a rush of cantaloupe, more watermelon, and grapefruit tart. For me, acidity is the one trait many rosés fail at, yet this one does it better than any I’ve had. Lovely 12.5ABV. A top Cali rosé in my opinion. |

3/11/2018 - mflesh wrote: 93 pointsHmm...these are disappearing FAST. I was too slow to celebrate the 80 degree March day in Texas, so by the time I got around to popping this one it was already back to 60 (the next day). As others have mentioned, this Rose is crazy good. I love that this one seems to have a limestone salinity to it, and along with a strawberry that is quite apparent from the get-go, this one tricks the brain to go all over the place (herbs, spice, acidity). At this rate, this six pack won't make it to April. 1 person found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

3/1/2018 - mflesh wrote: 93 pointsNice Rose of Pinot Noir. Done VERY well and every attention to detail is present here. The main note here is unexcusably watermelon. Some honeydew in the middle. Wine finishes with a chalky note. Melon and mango. This will go WELL when it is 120 degrees outside, which will be here MUCH sooner than I know it will be. This wine has great structure for a Rose, to rival Bandol's best, and only rivals the Calais Gaston Rose in greatness. Nice Rose! |

Perfectly balanced with solid acidity (7/10) and light plus to medium bodied. Fresh and crisp on the palate with some tart fruit notes, watermelon, citrus and a little stoney. Fruit wise and rocky. Long and lingering finish. Absolutely stunning rosé, would love to try some future vintages. Drink till 2021. |

5/28/2017 - eschaefer Likes this wine: 90 pointsGreat wine. One of top three rosés in Cali in my opinion. Light, refreshing, strawberry and berry fruit with a mostly dry mid palate. Refreshing acidity and low alcohol at 12.5. Really good. I'll drink all summer. Highly recommended and great price point |
