1/9/2024 - Jake112380 Likes this wine: 91 pointsIn agreement with the other notes. This is a fantastic, fresh bottle of Pinot. Might be a 92. Great value at whatever garagiste sold it to me for (I think $29+ as Jon writes). |

Carbonic fermentation, Charmat method. 100% Pinot Noir. Dark. This is obviously the sparkling Pinot. Cranberry a go-go on the nose. Fruity and fun, this is a great Turkey wine. Fantastic. La Bionda Blanc des Blancs. Golly, another fantastic nose. A bit ripe and sweet, sure, but there is a yeasty component. Yum. Tart and fruity on the palate, perhaps a bit sweet, but fantastic. 12/3/2023 - The Drunken Cyclist Likes this wine: 93 pointsRetail $40. Responsible bottle. Under cork. I first tasted this wine for the Seventh Annual World's Largest Tasting of American True Rosé and I loved it then (93 Points). Somehow, I ended up with another two bottles (lucky me!) so I popped this one with my lovely wife out of town (who says chivalry is dead?). Similar notes to the previous, but this one is also coming off as just ever-so-slightly-and-barely-perceptibly sweet. But it is so good, I really could not care any less. Outstanding. |

11/4/2023 - The Drunken Cyclist Likes this wine: 91 pointsThe Sixth Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir (Houston, Texas): Retail $40. Medium color but still translucent with dark fruit aromas and plenty of earth. Maybe even a touch “dirty”? Nice palate as well with that dark fruit abundant (but not bomby) and well-balanced. Not a bright, cheery Pinot, but this is darned good. Excellent. 91 Points. |

11/15/2023 - Supercuts Likes this wine: 92 pointsI was quite impressed. What oak there is remains subtle. I would have guessed there was some stainless steel, but perhaps the low amount of new oak is enough to keep it under control. This is not an over-extracted cali pinot. It has the new world flavor profile, but the fruit is not over ripe. Not super complex but call me a fan. Would buy - and drink happily - again. Did benefit from some air so I recommend a 1 hr decant. |
