3/19/2024 - SeattlePaul Likes this wine: 91 pointsHonestly I usually age Peter's wines more, so this is a wake up call for what they're like young. Not in a bad way, but it is different. This still is quite bright with a solid acid structure, however it's soft, almost creamy on the mouth feel overall. A spicy nose and interesting "light blue" fruit profile on the palate (blue fruits, but not hitting you over the head like say a Mollydooker). Gorgeous inky brickish purple color in the glass, pretty deep for a Pinot, and yes I know I'm going out of order. The first 375 we opened had a hint of barnyard which is quite notable for being rare given the screw cap. It wasn't objectionable though. Maybe a bit of Brett from some random place. |

3/19/2024 - VAGenius Likes this wine: 92 pointsQuick decant. Fresh nose of forest, ferns, and some alcohol notes. Very juicy palate delivering ripe black cherry, black plum, and grape hard candy with a slightly rough, grainy texture Plum pudding, sweet raisin, and light tannins on the voluptuous finish. A ripe fruit-forward style with enough complexity to offset the fruit - great to drink on its own. |

3/16/2024 - SeattlePaul Likes this wine: 91 pointsRich nose of cassis, black pepper, and a bit of smoke, with baking spice. Black cherry/dark fruits on the nose and the palate, with nicely integrated soft tannins that still have enough structure. At this point the wine is very smooth, with a round, well-balanced finish. Incredibly smooth finish if you drink it straight, but aerate it and you'll find the acid hiding in the background. Very happy with where this is at. |

1/19/2024 - suburbanfrog wrote: 93 pointsReading previous reviews I was wondering what we were in for. My wife and I were both floored by this wine. It was Perfectly cellared at 53 degrees since release. I believe we opened it at the perfect time. Silky smooth tannins, fruit is still there, pie cherry and tart blueberry all balanced by a nice acidity, I can’t imagine this wine showing any better. It was such a joy to drink we drank the whole bottle. After each drinking a glass we paired it with Wagyu Ribeye and Chimichuri. Wonderful. If you have any of this left I would suggest drinking now. I believe it is only going to go downhill from here. |

11/30/2023 - KPB wrote: 93 pointsDeeply colored, the 2022 TFL is a stunning wine from Sineann with the potential to merit 95-97 once it settles from being bottled and the nose opens up. Deep purple. With coaxing, the nose reveals pomegranate juice, basmati rice, caramel custard. Long and richly flavorful with a tart, juicy, sour cherry palate that trails into a saline finish. 93 now, 95-97 in a few years. |
