Elderflower, hint of petroleum- oddly as it would rather remind of aged Alsace Riesling - but was a good note, some noted perhaps nutty flavor

Absolutely delicious. Floral, tropical, and nicely balanced. Enjoyed immensely by all. Really shows its parents are Muscat and Gewurtz.

A little funk, banana, lemon and petroleum on the nose. Heavy banana peel and tropical fruit with some nutty notes on the palate. Great with a midday cheese board!

deep golden color. We waited too long probably to taste this wine. It still has some of the expected profile with aromas of honeysuckle and dried apricot. On the palate the wine was dry with medium acidity, medium body and flavors of dried apricot, honey, marmalade but a finish of grapefruit - lingering in fact. Some oxidation and nutty flavors, not unpleasant but also past peak.

At a tasting. Brief note from memory. Very expressive nose that gives off a plethora of canned tropical fruits and cloves. Palate is unlike the nose showing much drier than the nose would suggest adding citrus to it and a way texture. Decent

Certainly unique. Crisp with lemon/lime, green apple & cucumber. The closest comparison i can think of is the Prairie Star grape, which is a Swenson variety grown in the USA Midwest states.

Proper & correct with a lingering finish, light body and great aromatics. Very unique flavors.

Aged, nicely balanced by remaining acidity. Pretty much what you would expect from a barrel fermented Chard' from the region.

A nice varietal example. On the nose green nuttiness. Velvety viscosity, medium body, good acidity, green fruit flavors with a little nutty touch.

One of the most aromatic wines I've ever had. Initial reaction is "wow, this is interesting" becomes "wow, this is awful" and just as I'm spitting it in the sink the plastic/rubber finish kicks in.

The first night I couldn't even get my nose near the glass. Hospital disinfectant, strong and chemical smell. A few nights later, here we are still with a strong disinfectant, band-aid, white nurse's shoes scent. Behind that there's a bit of lychee and rosewater. None of this pleasant-sounding citrus and tropical fruits that others note. In my mouth I get loads of band-aid that lingers unhappily before transitioning to some muted and muddled fruit. Maybe this bottle isn't correct? We have another, so at some point I suppose I'll re-visit.

Part of our century club exploration of varietals. Hard to find some of these Eastern European varietals and glad we tried it. Pale yellow in the glass, nose is approachable and expressive with tropical fruits, citrus and white flowers, palate leads with pineapple and lychee followed by an odd smokiness reminiscent of smoked salmon oiliness. Smokiness borders on a mix of interesting and off putting. Fire in the hills of Hungary in 2012, not sure.

Nose and early palate say Tokaji fruit and sweetness but it takes a sharp turn to a zing of citrus and then veers into kerosene and floral tones with a odd richness and supple texture and body. Finish is medium but the acidity doesn't cause you to crave more but moderately enjoy the sip you just had. Worth it to explore Hungarian white wine but not to be a repeat offender of/on this.

Came across this in a sale bin, said what the heck, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Starts off on the nose like a ripe Viognier with guava and mango, but the palette is dry and slate-driven, with crisp lime. Unfortunately the nose didn't last long at all, suggesting to me that this isn't something that should last in the cellar.

Floral, honeysuckle and rosewater on the nose. Very different on the palate. Hard to describe, maybe old leather. At first seemed unenjoyable. But the more my palate adjusted to it the more pleasant it became. I found that it took a day or two after I opened/re-capped it to really develop.

Odd but smooth, nicely structured wine. Like nothing I've tried before. Prepare to be intrigued.

Serve well chilled.

A powerful wine that features a Gewurztraminer-like bouquet. It drinks nothing like it smells. The potent taste profile is reminiscent of phenol disinfectant cleaners used in India, alcohol fuels, and creosote. This is a different wine, but a well made one, without flaws. Enjoyable in its own unique way. The only wine I know with a similar taste profile is the 2010 La Cadalora Traminer Aromatico Vallagarina.

Overwhelming jasmine/floral flavors resolving to a slightly bitter tobacco aftertaste. As others have noted, waxy/oily feel. No crispness.

This didn't do it for me. Was heavy, floral, waxy in the aromas and flavors. Very dry. With a bit more acidity and sweetness it would have been livelier in the mouth, but this tasted almost inert. A new variety for me.

Great value; good minerality and acidity. Paired with a stir-fry chicken & veggies in a semi-sweet simmering Chinese simmering sauce, and wine's medium texture, acidity and minerals paired perfectly. Would be great with olives, too, say with apetizers. I think this is very versatile, and for $10, party on! Will buy more!

nose: nice and fresh nose of white fruits, bits of oils, lychees and spice tones. Not much depth, but has a nice crispness to it

taste: lighter feel with nice tones of lychees, spices tones and bits of white fruits. Nice medium acidity that is nice and refreshing

overall: A nice and interesting wine. This was good to experience would be nice with lighter fish dishes
