1/4/2015 - DaddyNeedsPow Does not like this wine: NRThe first night I couldn't even get my nose near the glass. Hospital disinfectant, strong and chemical smell. A few nights later, here we are still with a strong disinfectant, band-aid, white nurse's shoes scent. Behind that there's a bit of lychee and rosewater. None of this pleasant-sounding citrus and tropical fruits that others note. In my mouth I get loads of band-aid that lingers unhappily before transitioning to some muted and muddled fruit. Maybe this bottle isn't correct? We have another, so at some point I suppose I'll re-visit. |

Starts off on the nose like a ripe Viognier with guava and mango, but the palette is dry and slate-driven, with crisp lime.
