But still the finish is enjoyable, with bright acidity, a refreshing blueberry, a little sour cherry, and a rounded and drying tannin. |

Palate Full-bodied with medium acidity, low tannins, and worn leather with more cherry. I expected this to be a bit tired, but it is really drinking well. Like a broken-in pair of driving gloves, this just feels comfortable and right. Recommended, but drink now. |

Maybe it’s because it’s my 22nd year teaching and finding the energy to do this is taxing. Maybe I just need a drink. Whatever the reason, this cab hits the right notes. The oak is there but in a good way framing the plum and dark berry notes. Its a drink now wine that will wait for you. It’s good on its own but good with a steak, I’m sure. Good times. |

Upon opening at a winefair I detected nowhere this level of greatness. Not much was poured so I brought the remaining wine home with me and didn’t finish it until 3 days later. |
