Wine is in a good place. Cherry bakewell tart with rose petals wrapped in a light but velvety mid palate and lingering finish. In a great part of the drinking window now.

Balanced. Ripe fruit, oak, florals and a little mineral. However it dropped quite a lot on day 2.

Mid gold in colour, the aromas show hay, quince, pineapple, dried pear and some slivered almonds - a slightly more evolved nose given its 2019 vintage.
Mid-bodied, the palate is broad with lots of ripe sweet fruits with a sprinkle of pepper. The mid-palate is round, and whilst there is a core juiciness, there is also a compote of sweet jelly fruits that detract. I felt it could break through the more jelly-like consistency with a touch more acid. Certainly an expressive wine though

Beautiful Chenin with a prominent just ripe guava note with hints of pineapple, lime, and other citrus fruits. The intensity is impressive and there is a soft creamy quality that really carries over well to the palate. Definitely drank it too young and should have waited 5 plus years.

Lots going on here, intense and concentrated
Also very expensive £45
Grapes: Syrah (70%), Carignan (10%), Grenache (10%), Cinsault (8%), Marsanne (1%), Roussanne (1%)
