7/15/2023 - merryberry Likes this wine: 88 pointsNice nose of strawberry, twigs, and spice. Medium bodied, dusty cherries, herbs, juicy rhubarb, sweet tannins, good acid, and medium-plus, tart cherry finish. Probably as good as its going to get, so drink up. |

4/4/2023 - CPSchoeff Likes this wine: 93 pointsMany Dudes, Much Carignan, some Mourvedre, Side of Brett (George-fucking-town): Ruby purple color. Very expressive nose of floral/violet and black raspberry. Palate is very bright and fresh, full of red and black raspberry fruit, some complementary tannic/acid grip and a long and pretty finish. |

3/8/2022 - danielito Likes this wine: 92 pointsFound this on sale at a local store and remembered it from Berserker Day a few years ago. Light weight, slightly sweet carignan fruit, evocative of blackberries. Slight furry tannins on the back end add complexity. Perfect acidic balance. Delicious even after freezing and thawing the leftover 2/3 of a bottle! (To preserve the wine because I came down with a cold right after tapping into the bottle.) |

Was not a fan on this on release (too much oak) but this wine has really come to together with 5 years of bottle age. Has a long life ahead of it. |

Love all of the 15-17's of this wine. Sorry, there is no more as the Vinters are off living in France. Hopefully, there is a happy ending to this Fairy Tale. |

1/9/2020 - ptaylor2112 Likes this wine: 88 pointsAfter my first tasting note (4/23/19), I had a very nice email conversation with the winemaker. We discussed the carignan grape, the terroir, and the growing conditions. The winemaker recommended I wait a few months before opening my next bottle. |

Fantastic food wine and drinks like a $45 CdP. 91+ |

10/10/2019 - swillpower wrote: NRFound a few of these from B-Day 2019. I had opened one shortly after getting it, and found it pleasant but a bit simple. This one is wide open now, and very pleasurable. It’s got some lively, briary notes, a bit of spice, an unexpected thin layer of tannic support. Faint green/stem notes on the surprisingly sustained finish. The overall impression is a lighter-bodied red that has some backbone. Definitely needs some food to show its best. Overall, I found it delightful, and a super value. Drink or hold. |

4/23/2019 - ptaylor2112 Likes this wine: 88 pointsCool climate Carignan, who'da thunk it? This wine has the potential to be pretty good. If you pop and pour, the first glass will be a little off. Hard to describe, just a little off. I suggest decanting for 1.5-2 hours, or at least running 2 times through an aerator. Make sure to serve a few degrees below room temp (i.e. 65-70 degrees). I have 6 bottles and am planning to buy more in the future. A 2017-18-19 vertical would be super interesting. |
