There is some development evident on the nose (especially) and palate; however, it retains freshness, vivacity, and lots of primary fruit. The balance is perfect. Admittedly, there isn't a ton of complexity, and the finish is on the shorter side. Still a lovely wine, and a very plausible choice for a meal with spicy food. |

Bright green herbs in the mid and end palate with a long and lingering finish. As the night progressed it seemed to get more complex with some floral undertones as well as deeper fruit. A ripe & off dry palate shows good depth to the poached pears, hint of apples, verbena oil and honey. The sweetness has receded considerably and is replaced with the right amount of off-dry & ripe yellow/white fruit and acidity. |
