Note: I use the recommended scale so 85 represents a very good wine.

Literally, found this bottle in a dark place in my cellar, I thought it was gone (somehow).
I was a little anxious about the bottle, a 20+yo Chablis sort of pushes the envelope.
Nevertheless, the bottle was great. Not oxidized.
Clearly mature, and perhaps a bit too "funky" for some, but it was fine for me.

Excellent balance all around.
Enough fruit still left. Good acidity.

There was some left, and on Day 2, not so good -- not bad, but not o good.
If I find the other lot bottle, I will be certain to drink it all at once.
Responsibilities, responsibilities,

Straw colored and with great acid. Characteristic Chablis style. Aging improved the wine. Paired well with oysters. 88-89 points.

NOSE: juicy tropical fruit aroma is moderately expressive (papaya and mango); light mineral note; not much going on – not complex.

BODY: golden maize color of medium-light to medium depth; medium-light bodied.

TASTE: lots of mineral; shades of tropical fruit – concentration of fruit is light; not oaky; alc. is well-hidden; lots of mineral on the finish, which is of medium-light intensity and medium-long length; adequate acidity, but could certainly improve from more (as it could also improve from more fruit); moderately complex; I’d hesitate to age this, but maybe it would put on weight with short-term cellaring(?). Drink now – 2015.

B: 50, 5, 10, 14, 6 = 85

French Wine Tasting (Harrogate Fine Wine Company): -- tasted a single pour non-blind over approx. 10 min. --

Light golden yellow color. Nose was light, inexpressive, and showing almost nothing. Palate was almost completely devoid of any fruit flavors, as it was dominated by mineral and wool; a bit lacking in acidity; 12.5% alc. well-hidden; medium-long finish; wasn’t impressed by this one. Gut impression score: 82 - 84

Deep yellow color with golden edge. Starting to show signs of oxidation, but still some notes of creme brulee and apricot. I agree with Icarus that the texture was somewhat flabby, and as I also paired it with King Crab legs, I was somewhat dissapointed.

Not as impressive to me as the previous bottle I had in October. Not quite as rich (buttery) as I prefer -- almost too light. Noting this, nothing at all wrong with the bottle.

Wow. For an 8 year old, non premiere/grand cru chablis this is impressive. Classic chalk minerality on the nose. Good mouthfeel with lemon, butter and more chalk on the palate. Not a long finish but respectable for its type.

In this instance, I agree with mulligan452002' s last note. My bottle, was crisp, clear, and well delineated. No signs of aging or "being over the top". Quite the opposite. Good citrus, minerality. This bottle was not as round as and full as some other '02 white Burgundies I have had, but that (apparently) was not the style of this wine.

I find it odd that a VV would not be Premier Cru, but I guess that is how it is.

This was a really delightful experience this time. Light and refreshing, with good minerality. I drank the entire half bottle myself over the course of an evening. Very good (85.5).

Very good. Not quite as woody as last time. Still drinkable, but perhaps just every so slightly past its prime (83.5).

Deep golden color. The nose is dominated by apricot. This is heavy and mouth coating on the palate, with appricot and honey being the dominant flavors. Not a particularly good pairing with King Crab Legs.

Served with a fresh, lemony Caesar salad. Deep golden yellow color. Enticing nose of lemon and other citrus. Somewhat heavy in the mouth, but great pure fruit throughout. This is a great wine to have on hand for dinner outside on a warm summer night.

Dry and lemon notes, but not quite as mineral-laden as one would expect from a Chablis.
