I had the privilege of a private tasting at Osoyoos Larose with the assistant wine maker & vineyard manager Catharine Scott-Taggart. We tasted the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Le Grande Vin and the 2007 Petales d'Osoyoos. The 2004 was spectacular, well balanced with an outstanding finish. The 03 was better than the 05 which needs a few more years in the cellar then will be amazing. The 06 is 2 to 3 years away from drinking but I am sure will be outstanding. The wines need to be decanted for a couple of hours. |
