This wine was fantastic. A dusty nose with hint of bright red fruit. The wine aged well. There was an elegant structure notes of sour cherry, raspberry and cream. This wine continues to impress.

Big massive body. Nose of dark fruit and tar. On the palate there was nice structure. Full mouth feel with a velvety texture. The flavor was not very expressive. Black berry, black tea and that was about it. A little disapointed.

There was dark fruit, cola and a subtle herb on the nose. The pallet was complex. I picked up nutmeg, moss, and cherry on one layer. Then there was some sort of cola, Dr pepper thing going on. Next there was some sweet soil, tobacco and mushroom. It has the depth and body of an Eola Hills, OR Pinot Noir, but nose and the gentile nuances from Dundee Hills. Overall, a terrific wine and probably my favorite of the evening.

The nose can be described by pear and cinnamon. It was very complex. The pallet was bright with acidity, vanilla, coconut, toasted marshmallow. While these tasting notes are dominated by characteristics that I traditionally do not like about California Chards because they are easily over done, this wine tastes like what all the other California Chards are trying to be. There was tremendous balance; a pleasing body, acidity, oak balance. And it was a great accent to the sea scallops, crimini mushroom sauce and parsnip puree.

On the nose there was a beautiful raspberry fruit, bell pepper and a little bit of all spice. The palate was filled with raspberry, leather, candied blueberry and a fine tannin that wrapped my tongue for a long and lingering finish. I also had a little mouth feel of wet stone. As the wine opened the palate presented cinnamon cedar and cooked peaches. This was a dynamic and exciting wine.

Good spice on the nose. The palate had lots of fruit still, some smoke and pepper. There was definitely some Red Mountain dust and terrior. Good body and a long finish. Solid wine.

The nose had vibrant fruit. Much more exciting than the 2006.

The palate had a great balance of tannin to fruit and was quite pleasant. The fruit disappeared after about 2.5 hours.

The palate was good, for this wine, especially after letting it decant for an hour.

Nose: dusty, dark cherries, austere. The palate on this is remarkably similar to a big chianti. Cherry, olive, and spice. This has a great back bone and should be able to age for a wine longer.

You can tell that this is a well made wine. The nose was pretty tight and you could smell some dark fruit and pencil. The wine is pretty complex and well integrated. Even after 1.5 hours it still wasn't opening up too much. This definately needs time in the cellar.

Decanted for 45 minutes and drank over the next 2 hours. There were tartaric crystals on the cork. Nose of black pepper, vanilla, and blueberry. The pallet still has fruit on it and the tannins have are well integrated. There is a slight cinnamon mid-pallet. The finish goes on and on. This wine is peaking, buy as many as you can now.
