The smell filled the room instantly. Once poured, the wine had a leather, earthy smell but started to open up about 20 minutes. Great Italian wine and this will only get better. Great buy for the price. This wine will be ideal in 5 years. |

I have opened 3 bottles over the last 3 months and have enjoyed them. Good wine for the price range. Gave it a 91 but after aging could be a 93+. |

Once we poured this wine, the aroma was incredible. The wine smelled of a strong bouquet of fruit and definitely has the "bandaid" smell and taste. This wine really surprised me and can't wait for opening the other bottles later. Earthy, Smokey with strong cherry and plum fruit. Wine will age or decant for a long time. This win has great potential. |
