2/21/2014 - gabbott Likes this wine: 91 pointsBold, up front big fruit with strawberry and raspberry notes. Nice mid-palate and medium long finish with rounded tannins. Outstanding QPR and truly tastes more like a $40-$50 wine than the $20 it is. Hard to hang on to this wine with its fresh, bold fruit bomb approach but I suspect it will become even better, more complex (though it has multi-layers as it is), and resolve the tannins with another year, maybe two, but not likely more, in the bottle peacefully slumbering before having its coming out party. |

1/30/2014 - gabbott Likes this wine: 89 pointsMedium to full-bodied with lots of fruit, particularly up front. Medium-long finish with good tannin support but not over-powered by them. Quite drinkable now, particularly if you crave the fruit, but will age nicely for at least another 3-4 years, maybe more, before fading. Great tasting cab for the price point. Would buy again. |

1/19/2014 - gabbott wrote: 92 pointsFruity, medium full bodied with some tannins present but very smooth, very flavorful. Quite enjoyable now and is likely mature in its development. Will likely last several more years but I doubt it's going to develop a lot more. Sure, you can find even better cabernets out there, but not many at this price point and there's nothing wrong with the Artemis. Makes me want to try the Fay! 1 person found this helpful, do you?
