Good acidity brings harmony to a succulent, big white wine. If anything the oak is a bit dominant at this stage and the upfront fruit power of the wine can be overwhelming to some. It is a slightly heavy wine in the sense that it sweeps the palate completely, demanding full attention. I am sure this will mellow with age. None the less, it is a classy, high quality wine but I would suggest further cellaring. |
