I tasted this immediately following the current vintage (2015) O'Riada.

Impressive to see the amazingly forward berries and spice of the '15 have mellowed consistently to reveal an overall deliciously blended cool climate shiraz.

Deep garnet rapidly thinning out towards the top. Light legs. Musty bookshelves, black pepper, subdued berries. Not a lingering finish, but not short either. Would easily suit lamb, beef, venison.

Subdued, but noticable tannins. Ripe fruit. Plenty of life left.

Superb. Served at cellar temp, 15c. Big, but not overdone christmas fruit notes. Still tanninson the back end. Will last another 5.

A welcome tipple at the end of a weekend of yard work. Deliciously tight fruit with plenty of blackcurrant. Tannins are holding in, but softening with age.

Look forward to tasting this in 5 years.

Probably a year or two beyond its peak and certainly not stored in the most pristine of conditions.

Slightly muted and flabby, but still a very well balanced wine. An enjoyable experience with some nice oak notes riding over the top of the fruit. No noticable alcohol burn. Good value.
