P: dry, high acidity, med chalky texture, med body, 13.5% ABV
C: good wine = balanced fruit/nuts with textural grip, med intensity, med (+) concentration, med (+) finish, a touch of bitter almond and slight burn on the finish keep this from being very good. Drink now or over coming 5 years.

Appearance - ok so I know this is about the wine and not the packaging, but I do need to call out the beautiful packaging. It immediately caught my eye on the shelf and offers a lovely elevated look. Would make a lovely gift.

Ok, wine review - clear, medium light 10 vs 24 k gold.

Nose - youthful, clean, perfumey, medium plus intensity, very aromatic. Orange blossoms, floral, a bit of animal sweat in a good rustic way. Ripe grapefruit notes but none of the bitter, more perfume smell. Maybe mandarin orange then. Tropical notes. Getting some herbal. It’s a very interesting nose especially at this price point.

Palate - lovely, fresh, refreshing. Youthful, clean, crisp, medium body, acidity is medium plus, balanced, alcohol is medium and well integrated. It’s alive on palate. You get dancing acidity I will call it. A little frizzante. The finish is medium plus and I would add a plus to my acidity rating. As the wine touches other parts of the palate the acidity lingers. A great food wine and look forward to pairing it with my dinner (chicken). Notes are ripe tangerine. Some salinity. Italian herbs. Minerality. You can taste stones.

I think this is drinking nicely now. Not sure I see this as aging any longer. A perfect summer wine as we head into the season? Yes. I can see as an aperitivo with meats and cheeses, olives, or shellfish. Light summer meals, salads, and I’m optimist about my chicken tonight. Pretty elevated packaging. I’m a fan. And I’m heading to Lake Garda in a week and very excited if this is what I can expect to be drinking. A nice discovery even if I’m paying a NYC mark up. This is an interesting wine with character.

I personally think a wine like this is for enjoying now. I am curious s out those who feel it has a longer window. And would be interested in tasting what it turns into but I would probably enjoy this now.

Een lekkere Verdecchio, maar zonder een uitgesproken smaak/geur. Prima neutraal wijntje.
Gedronken in het Flevoziekenhuis met de Culicleppers na het infarct van Red.

PnP that was very good on open and even better at 60 minutes open. Medium straw color, not so clear. Initial aromas of peach, apple, mace and marine influence. Medium body, good+ complexity and length. This is a magnet drawn to bold flavors; the garlic and tuna in my pasta/cream sauce dish was lit. Easily recommended+, thru 2028.

Prior bottle was 9 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. White pear and white peach along with floral notes and contrasting citrus qualities on the nose. Close to medium bodied with the white apple and white peach contrasting well with the white pear and melon. Apple provides the roundness and peach the depth while the pear provides the tartness and the melon the length. Citrus comes in on the back and the overall presentation is very harmonious. This wine continues to show well and I'll plan to open my next bottle in June 2024.

Popped and poured at fridge temp. A little airing in the glass. Subtle apple aromas on the nose. Medium bodied, dry and smooth, delivering subtle tart apple with a tiny vanilla note carried by decent acidity. I don’t know, but after reading the previous TN:s I find this a bit disappointing. A solid wine by all means but not that great and not worth the spend of nearly 40€ from Alko.

Better than a year ago with ample depth and complexity. Balanced fruit, lemon rind and mineral flavors with just a touch of waxy furniture polish. Bears some resemblance to a Loire chenin.

A bit shy on the nose but very precise on the palate with medium (+) intensity. Minerals, pear and citrus with saline touch. High acidity. Long finish. Drink within 3-4 years.

Delicious. Pale golden in the glass, nose of orchard fruits and white floral notes, palate is dry and complex, stone fruits, apricot, nectarines, quince, citrus blossoms, white currant, creaminess mid palate, acidity is bright, body medium +, finish lingers. More please.

golden straw and mildly viscous in the glass. fruity nose of melon and stonefruit with white flower whiffs. a pleasant vein of acidity runs from entry to finish brightening the flavours of golden apple and peach; citric zest, herb accents and pith lend complexity. smooth texture on a subtle mineral base and very good persistence.

lovely, refreshing, delightful on its own or with light fare. enjoy now and for handful of years (if you can hold off, that is!)

13% AbV; 100% Turbiana from Lugana, close to the south shores of Lake Garda; fermentation and two-years' ageing in stainless; additional six months in bottle before release.

Light yellow hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, guava, honeysuckle, melon, peach, pear, and saline, with a hint of cream. Citrus and minerals on the palate. Medium body with high acidity. Long finish. Wonderful and refreshing with a great bouquet. Worth holding for a few more years.

PnP. Holding on nicely, mature with good freshness though I'd not wait too many more years as the freshness really helps to delineate the layers of white fruits and various herb and forest notes. Lingers nicely. Drink now. recommended

Italian Wine Scholar Class at The Texas Wine School. 100% Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana), harvested late, w/ low yields. Med yellow. Quite complex nose, w/ med (+) intensity ripe lemon, white blossom, white peach, bell pepper, flint, petrol, honey and a touch of oak spice due to 18 mos. on fine lees, mostly in steel, w/ some in oak of various sizes. Dry, yet fruity, with med to med (+) acidity and med alcohol. Med (+) full bodied, w/ pronounced flavor intensity and med (+) length and a creamy, oily texture. Drinking well now, but has the potential to improve over the next several years. Great QPR at $35.

Beautiful wine! Confession: I love Lugana. I already loved in when everyone (including me) thought this was made of the cheap Trebbiano grape. And I still love it.
This wine is beautifully made - apricot, nectarine, a bit of melon, followed by good, citrusy acidity. Long aftertaste. Round and smooth.
The fruit starts to fade a bit. I’d say it’s a tad past its peak. Nice to drink now, but I’d drink up quickly, if this wasn’t the last bottle for me.
