There is a perfumy nose with subtle but not complex charms. However, there is an astringency in the background that still needs to resolve. All in all, a very respectable wine from a relatively minor chateau. We look forward to drinking the 82 Pontet-Canet from the same Proprietaire for stylistic comparison. |
