Asked the merchant how he came to have such an old vintage on the shelf. He didn't have a clue. Asked if he would guarantee it wasn't corked. He said no, but offered it to me at 1/2 price. I took the risk. It was Wonderful!! Not oxidized at all. Balanced, mellow, with dark fruit and layered complexity. What a find! Tribute to the winemakers of Llano Estacado! Bravo! |
