Beautiful now. Aired for 2 hours. Notes of roses tobacco leather. Still has power but not as much as when released. Mouth also revealed notes of truffle and Forrest. Drinks lovely now but can also wait.

On opening:
Fresh, cherries, leather, moist cellar, some barrel on sent. Rounded tannins with fresh acidity. Leather medium fruit and pepper. Bit short.

After 2 hours on bottle:
more intense on smell, fruitier, fall leaves, spices and vanilla. Longer finish and more fruity.

Guess I was lucky with my bottle which was a gift from my Tuscany holiday this year. Wouldn't want to keep it longer as it is most likely on its way down.

Went very nice with roasted chicken and chanterelle risotto.
Passet meget godt til ovn stekt kylling med kantarell risotto.
