4/10/2015 - brandomonium Likes this wine: 92 pointsWonderfully predictable wine, if that makes sense. Just what one would expect from a Burgundy Villages. Nice acid and minerality, with bright fruit on the nose (strawberries and candied apples), but good balance and just enough backbone to stand up to a number of foods. Was served by the glass at Commis in Oakland, so I must admit, while I was a bit distracted by the brilliant food, it was a perfect pairing |

Lucious mouthfeel, ripe cherries with younger fruit as well - almost candies apples and pears. Subtle medicinal, herbaceous notes. Cedar and tobacco nose. Amazing balance with just-firm-enough tannins, perfect acidity, medium finish, taut mineralogy. Fantastic value. |
