12/10/2023 - TGLeroy Likes this wine: 94 pointsA little bottle variation from the last one, this one needed less time to open, but also seemed healthier- a bit more vibrant. Other than this very consistent with the one opened last week. Would still consider drinking the ‘13s sooner rather than later. |

11/28/2023 - TGLeroy Likes this wine: 94 pointsI’ve always thought that Thomases are just hitting their stride at the 10 year mark- this vintage may be an exception to that, and may have hit its peak. It is one of the most feminine Thomases I’ve tasted- a delicate enchanting nose, showing strawberries and raspberries which hold through in the tasting. The finish may be a bit shorter than other vintages, but it definitely has an ephemeral quality to it. |

6/8/2023 - TGLeroy Likes this wine: 90 pointsThis has a lot of life left in it. I tried it over two days then forgot about it in the wine fridge and tried many days later - I believe it was at its best, with so much blue fruit dominating. |

1/10/2023 - TGLeroy wrote: 88 pointsDoes anyone produce a viognier that actually showcases the wonderful characteristics of a viognier anymore? It seems like everything I’ve tried lately has been an attempt to reinvent, for some intellectual purposes, what a viognier is supposed to taste like. Do you find this review helpful? 5/27/2022 - TGLeroy Likes this wine: 92 pointsTrying the second day open and this has truly become alive. Like a previous comment says, it has a big earthy sour cherry nose; it is thin-ish, but I don’t mind that, there is a lot going on on the palate, a big wine with and expansive finish on the second day. I get the comment about too much alcohol but I am not bothered. |

1/23/2022 - TGLeroy Likes this wine: NRDrinking well right now. Well balanced, although the fruit is a bit subdued; beautiful, silk-cushiony mouth feel and respectable length. Would I pay the $150 Wine-searcher listing on this? No way Jose, but do I like this? - Oh yeah! |

2013 Thomas Pinot Noir Dundee Hillsmore |
1/15/2022 - TGLeroy wrote: NRI pop and pour myself just a taste; immediately this is delicious! Sour cherry and lingonberry - a very consistent Thomas profile with a covering of dusty tannins that let me know this will open up. Three hours later a changed wine, much more alive and giving more raspberry and less tart red fruit; the tannins are there in the background, the length is impressive as always. What a fun wine to sit down with and let evolve! I drink a lot of (good) pinot and when I come to Thomas I always think this is it, this is the one that gets everything right. |

9/28/2021 - TGLeroy Likes this wine: 92 pointsDrank half the bottle, then forgot about it for well over a week in my wine fridge. Drinking like I could have opened it yesterday. Plenty of tannins left, balanced with cherry and blue fruits and some dusty earth; medium body. I feel like this can handle some real time in the bottle. |
