6/30/2018 - Shanegsnow Likes this wine: 91 pointsThis was a fantastic blend from Chile of Syrah, Carmenere, CS, Mourvèdre, Malbec and PV (45/35/8/5/4/3). They change their blend every vintage and this one worked very well. I believe the 2013 has some merlot in there at the expense of the Carmenere. Personally, I think I like this one better. |

2010 Bolla Amarone della Valpolicella Classico RheticoCorvina Blend, Corvina more |
6/17/2018 - Shanegsnow Likes this wine: 90 pointsThis is a big Amarone at 16.5%. The nose was amazing with big plum and dried fruit aromas. While the alcohol was high, it was well balanced. Big dark fruit on the palate with mouth puckering tannins and nice acidity. The finish was long. Paired very well with Filet Mignon on the grill on Fathers Day while watching the US Open. Life can’t get much better. A definite buy! |

6/17/2018 - Shanegsnow Likes this wine: 89 pointsI think this has potential, but at the moment, I found here was too much fruit and the tannins were a little too much. Perhaps more time needed in the bottle. Will sit on my last bottle for a while. |

4/1/2017 - Shanegsnow Likes this wine: 90 pointsVelvety smooth and mouth coating. Paired exceptionally well with Homemade BBQ burgers. Lots of dark fruit up front at the beginning. However, as the night went on, the fruit seemed to disappear. Maybe a sign of it's age. Overall, a definite buy at this price point ($35cdn). Would go very well with BBQ this summer. |

3/31/2017 - Shanegsnow wrote: 88 pointsVery pleasantly surprised with this wine. Got it for free at the local liquor store for spending over $60. So my expectations were pretty low. Cherries on the nose with a little spice. The palate had a decent finish balanced with cherries and acidity. My only complaint at this price point ($18 Cdn) is that it's a tad sweet. Overall, not a bad wine. If they change the label, I might even buy a bottle . A great bottle to break out after midnight . |

3/25/2017 - Shanegsnow Likes this wine: 89 pointsA very good CA Chardonnay. A nice mix of minerality, tropical fruit and just the right amount of oak on the nose. The palate had the same tropical fruit balanced nicely with acidity and a beautiful buttery flavour that you expect from a Cali Chard. Overall, one of my favourite Chardonnay's. I will definitely pick up another bottle to have in the cellar for this summer. |
