It is fairly dry but I love that. It is very balanced and more structured like a diet cabernet to me. This is one of my favorite wines because, in my opinion, it is underrated and a great QPR and nearly perfect for my palate. |

It smells utterly delicious and the taste is a wonderful mix of dark fruits and chocolatey goodness. Wow this is so smooth and it has enough acidity to provide balance to the rich flavors. I am very impressed with Lewis. I also have had the regular (2018) and reserve Cab (2014) and they were both fantastic. |

It has a medium plus body with medium acidity. In all fairness to this wine, I prefer Napa Cabs over Bordeaux. The taste profile is dark fruited and pleasant with slight complexity. |

It borders on hedonistic while being very balanced with tannins that have just the right amount of grip for a good mouthfeel. It is good with and without food and is very balanced. I am impressed and very glad I have 1 more waiting. The palate was better than anticipated from the aroma and I actually kind of like that. The taste exceeded the expectation upon first smell.
