Sonoma Valley is a bucolic setting of rolling hills, well-tended vineyards, and soaring oaks. Celebrating this special place, Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted exclusively from vineyards neighboring Arrowood Winery and from our own Estate Vineyard. The 2006 vintage marks our first Cabernet Sauvignon with a Sonoma Valley appellation. Mountain and hillside vineyard sites (many organically farmed) were thoughtfully sourced in anticipation of this wine. Richard Arrowood captures the character of each site, blending them to tell a story both of vintage, and of the distinct terroir that is Sonoma Valley.
Viticultural Areas/Vineyards: Sonoma Valley - Lasseter Vineyards, Monte Rosso Vineyard, Smothers-Remick Ridge Vineyards, Arrowood Estate Vineyard
Varietal Composition: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc
