Viña Casablanca

Producer website

Founded by Vina Santa Carolina as a sister company in 1992. After one decade, Vina Casablanca has become one of the most prestigious boutique wineries in Chile, and is known for its consistently fresh, exuberant and elegant wines, which represent the modern embodiment of Chiles idyllic wine-growing regions.
Casablanca characterizes for being a pre¬costal valley, located 18 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, on the costal planes of the region and surrounded by the mountain range of the coast. It has a clear maritime influence, the climate mostly cold ,presents morning fog and a wide thermal range between day a night favoring the slow maturity of the grape. The average temperature in the summer is of 25°C, rain concentrates between the months of May and October ,with an average of 450 mm. The months with frost threats are September and October, the months between November and April are considered mostly dry. Without a doubt, this climatic conditions give us
high quality wines, with high concentration of fruit and very good acidity.
