Laura Bradley Conway (Editorial Consultant)

A New England native with a background in Humanities, my wine journey began 20 years ago after a move from the Boston area to California. After studying French Literature and traveling abroad, I was ever the Francophile, but fell in love with the Bay Area’s vibrant food and wine culture. I explored a variety of roles in the industry including hospitality in Napa and SF, freelance wine writing, marketing for online sales and collector services technology, and portfolio management for a specialty importer/distributor. In 2010 I joined CellarTracker focusing on enriching the database with professional review content.

A lifelong student at heart, I have been curious to learn about wine production around the globe, the pursuit of which led to certificates and diplomas from The French Wine Society, the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and a Wine MBA from KEDGE Business School.

Along the way, I discovered that I have a particular weakness for Blanc de Blancs Champagne and perfumed reds such as Pomerol and Chambolle Musigny. Riesling and the wines of Italy and New Zealand also vie for my attention.

For leisure, I am an avid triathlete participating in races of all distances from sprint to Ironman. I love being outdoors whether hiking a trail or kayaking on a pond. I am a classical music enthusiast having played piano for many years and opportunistically attend chamber music concerts. My husband and I have three children, a flock of chickens and a Sheepadoodle named Winston.
