  August 26, 2022 - I have always argued that chardonnay needs fruits. Without fruits, it is a rather boring experience as there is only so much one can get excited by the acidity and heaven forbids, salinity!
  
  Well, this wine was made in those fad years and steely it is. Rod straight, arrow like focused which is great but there is no yumminess factor. What is the point?
  
  This wine was saved by the Vietnamese food and with the right food, the acidity changed from a liability to being a friend.
  
  Drink now to 7+ years.
