  September 1, 2022 - Drank alongside very flavorful Moroccan food, which was a difficult pairing. Purple florals, a bit of funk, and very nice acidity. However, this lacked the intensity and crunchy texture of the 2017. I did find it gained weight over the course of dinner and was improving. Won't score, because it didn't have a fair shot against Moroccan spices and without given proper time to breathe. While drinkable upon opening, I'd recommend at least a 45 minute decant.
