  September 30, 2022 - Tasted alongside the Cristal 08 as this Krug has a base of 08 Vintage and both were excellent, but different. The Cristal was pure, elegant and crisp whereas the Krug had more power, structure and a touch of purposeful oxidation. I loved them both but would give the very slight nod to the cleaner and more elegant Cristal. The group was pretty evenly djivided as to preference but both wines were appreciated by everyone.
