Nose: The best aspect of the wine. Elegant and seductive this included notes of florals with a strong hint towards roses combined with cherries, spice box notes with a strong leaning towards cloves and and some allspice. Charred earth notes also made an appearance with some tobacco leaf.
Taste: excellent taste with plenty of acids inidicating this wine has at least 5 years left with potential for 10. Good through the attack, mid, and finish.
Overall: This wine would pair excellent with duck liver pate as well as some stronger flavored fish like salmon or even a baccala stew.3,179 views
