  November 25, 2022 - From a magnum. Great wine for an Xmas style dinner the Friday after Thanksgiving. A 17 year old Insignia is very different from a younger Insignia. It may be considered a bit monolithic at this stage of my palette as I now search for nuances in a wine, but it’s very enjoyable for a ton of reasons. Decanted for 4 hours which is short for me. I prefer 8 hours and it would not have hurt the experience. As usual, a lot of comments that the wine improved over the time we enjoyed it and everyone wanted more after it was gone. Definitely a winner. Thanks to Ashley and the JPV team.
