December 4, 2022 - Pale gold. Expressive nose of florals, citrus and almonds. Pretty. On the palate I get the flavors I associate with whites from the northern-most part of the Cote de Beaune - more akin to Corton Charlemagne than Meursault - which flavors for me are present in wines not just in the villages around the Hill of Corton but extend to the rarer Beaune and Savigny whites also. Quite a bit of citrus. To me these flavors have an appealing sense of restraint. Gathers intensity on the palate. Listed at 14% and that seems about right. No sense of heat. Balance between fruit and acid and alcohol. Some length. Has some personality. Very good. Worthy of its village designation. I would buy more of this.

A second bottle, three days later, was equally convincing.
