  April 19, 2009 - excellent showing for this outstanding wine. surely much upside to holding on to, but it's awfully difficult, given how appealing this is in its burly youth. exuberant, fleshy wine, with deep ripe plum accented by savory garrigue. still tannic, but pleasingly so, not in the least mouth puckering. long future ahead, but this is certainly exceptional right now.
