  December 19, 2022 - This is a strong case for bottle variation. Tonight's wine was exceptional with spicy tomato chicken creole and it not only stood up to the dish, but the wine was exceptional as well. It had that musty, earthy, cellar-like taste you find with fine Spanish Riojas, but the taste was blueberry jam, but not overly sweet. Great balance and integration. Drinking perfectly now with some afternoon breathing, do not pop and pour.
