  January 12, 2023 - A lovely, elegant and balanced Quintet but for me probably not one of the better vintages. Has all the MM hallmarks; medium weight, cassis, cedar, tobacco leaf and some herbal notes, but doesn’t feel like it has that dintinguishing complexity or X factor that often sets it apart. Feels maybe a little short on the finish for me as well. I wonder whether this was a younger wine to drink or if it has more development to come? Unsure.
