January 13, 2023 - Nose of graphite, black pepper, and chili powder, with cheese emerging after some time in the decanter. Palate shows lots of old, charred oak chips in a heavy pot of blackberry juice. Loose, fractured chunks of dry tannin and sour acid. Weighty, but not focused or structured.
