  November 3, 2014 - Terroir-istes International - France, Bordeaux 2005 Vintage (Rodwell House): Mid to deep crimson, the nose displays tilled soil, spice and tobacco, and a rich array of cassis, chocolate and mocha. Classic Bordeaux, the nose is intense and beguiling, drawing you in.
  Full-bodied, the wine is powder soft in texture with rich, fleshy fruit coating the dense cashmere tannins. Well structured, there is great concentration and power but all subtly carried out. Well-knit, elegant this is a top-quality producer. Seductive black and red fruits and tobacco offset by a vivacious acidity, this is complex and with a long farewell. Has plenty of time in the bottle to fully resolve.
