January 12, 2022 - Mid to deep yellow with green flashes, the bouquet is perfumed with yellow and white flowers, like a summer country garden. There is slivered almonds, baked apple and Williams pear.
The entry is bone dry, focussed with a razor-sharp acidity and glassy texture filled with ripe fruits of orchard fruits, apple sauce and citrus. An airy, delicate wine that is linear and juicy enough to give just enough depth to the mid-palate it finishes on grapefruit, kumquat and Yuzu fruit as the acid builds and the citrus element explodes! Excellent wine as the finish stays true.
