Medium plus weight on the palate - a nice mouth filling creamy texture with an easy ripeness. Good acidity also - the wine did not go through malolactic The gunflint/ struck match flavors drive the finish forward. Still young - it changed quite a bit in the glass over just 30 minutes. It got fuller and the reduction dissipated somewhat. If you like the style this represents quality at a very fair price.
