February 1, 2023 - Decanted thirty minutes. Tasted with four other traditional styled Brunellos from 2001. Quite dark toned sour cherry. Fresh fruit. Grip . Acid. Tannin. Balanced. Some elegance. Quite complete. Young but approachable. A favorite among our little tasting group. Showing really well. More than held its own in perhaps more heralded company. Bought on release and unmoved in the cellar these last 17 years. Will keep a decade at least.
