  May 8, 2009 - surprised that salon released a 97, i now know why. excellent bubbles, opened up rapidly. tropical aromas, and ripe fruit not usual for so young of a Salon. while really really good, this will be a rapidly maturing wine for Salon. i'd say it will peak in about 5-7 years and drink well for no more than 10 before it begins to lose its shine.
