Zinfandel, co-fermented with a touch of Petite Sirah skins. No Vintage given. Fruit believed sourced in the Sierra Foothills AVA. Fringe Wines, Modesto, CA (not related to the 'Fringe Collective') is related to Myka Cellars/Estates, Diamond Springs, CA (Mica Raas, Vintner).
Served (1 hr decant) with Spaghetti & Meat Sauce and Caprese Salad.
Lighter red on the pour; clear Ruby-red in the glass. Predominately Cherry & raspberry on the nose. Tart on the palate with cherry, raspberry and plum. Light-to-medium bodied. Smooth, but gives the impression of being a little 'thin.' Enough tannins to leave a little fuzziness on the tooth, Ample acidity. Lingering, tart, finish. Spouse Likes.114 views
