April 10, 2023 - Exactly what DAWGBYTE says below......very similar bottle with the exception that I decanted it for 90 min and I think it was best then and for another 90 minutes. The nose was quite fragrant, floral and cherry The palate was full of cherry, was very balanced and the mouthfeel was so smooth and crushed velour like. Later in the evening this seemed to fall off a bit and I probably would have given it an 89 then.....in the early going this one drank younger than a '12 to me. Minimal bricking just starting to show up.

4/12/23, 5:03 PM - Good note on this, Mark. This is one of my favorite producers, but it’s case, IMO, where it’s worth upgrading to the Tenuta Nuova over the normale (I’m not sure that’s the case with the Cerralto viz the TN). The ‘13 of the TN is drinking especially impressively now with air. Cheers!

4/12/23, 5:07 PM - Thanks for the support and the info, sf.....I'm slowly turning myself toward the Italians and of course the Rioja from Spain. Having a '10 FDH Tondonia with tacos tonight as I type this note......amazing what you can get out of fruit when it doesn't have 15.9% alc attached to it!
