July 3, 2023 - Dilute & watery body combined with dried out fruit. Not a good showing for this producer.

7/3/23, 12:26 PM - Could very well be bottle variation. There are comments about bottle variation in the thread. This bottle was not flawed or heat damaged. But certainly not as good as past bottles.

7/3/23, 12:36 PM - I had an ‘01 that presented thin and angular recently - nearly poured it down the sink but double-decanted it, forgot it for three days, remembered it was still there eventually and it was delightful - had recovered its body, balance and flavour. You never know with Musar. Out of interest , had your bottle had any decant ?

I've saved a vile of it off, will return to it in a few days to see if anything changes. -
